Maven Piano Service provides the highest quality piano services to ensure you get the most out of your piano. We recognize that a crucial part of caring for you and your piano is what you experience when you sit down to play. We aim to grow relationships with you, the customer, by understanding your needs, desires and goals when it comes to your piano. The better we know you and your piano, the better we can assist in maximizing your enjoyment of your instrument and recommend services that best fit your needs.
Your Technician
My name is Joshua Mayfield and I am the owner and operator of Maven Piano Service. Having started my journey as an apprentice in 2010, I have spent the last 13 years growing in the art of optimizing a piano's potential for the benefit of my customers. I am a Registered Piano Technician through the Piano Technicians Guild and graduate of the Piano Technicians Academy. I apprenticed while working with Classic Pianos in Washington and have spent the last 8 years serving as Lead Technician for the industry leading piano service company, Artisan Piano Services. My technical focus is on full piano service and maintenance including tuning, voicing, regulation and repairs. The greatest reward as a technician is using the knowledge and skill I've accumulated to bring joy to people by helping them connect with their piano.
Family
I am blessed with a rich life both in my work in the world of pianos and at home. My beautiful wife of 10 years and I have been blessed with two wonderful boys. We are born and raised in Washington State. We love spending time together with family and friends and just about anything that gets us outside!
